There are more than 41 tons of fish in the Marine Life Museum, which includes all kinds of sea creatures from all the way through anchovies, sharks and stingrays. Regularly restored fish mummies awaits their enthusiasts.

The Sea Creatures Museum, which was established with the efforts of the fisherman Kenan Balcı, who has been engaged in fishing for 50 years, one of the famous fishermen of Istanbul, contains embalmed samples of many creatures in the seas.

Our museum was not open to visitors for a while the pandemic, and our doors are re-opened to curious little ones, research students and interested adults.

We have taken every precaution for our visitors regarding the coronavirus. After the distribution of masks and disinfectants at the entrance of our museum, we offer a safe visit to our esteemed visitors with the social distance bubbles inside.
